RESOLUTIONS   PASSED IN THE  SIXTH  BOARD OF STUDIES

                          The committee has reviewed the syllabus and approved U.G & the two year P.G syllabus with few changes because student benefits.

U.G:

The B.Sc  Practicals Weightage may be reduced from 400 to 200.

FIRST YEAR:

104 : Unit-I is replaced with S.V.U    104 : Unit-II( Introduction to Spectroscopy

          and spectrophotometry)

104 : Unit-IV,  In addition to Thermal method and radio analytical methods are

         also included  S.V.U 104 unit-IV

SECOND SEMESTER:

201: No change

202: Unit-III Title is changed  as Three and Four memberde heterocycles.

         Unit-IV Title is changed Terpenoids.

203: No change

204: No change

208: Human values and Professional ethics-I  is to be included as per UGC

        guidelines along with other Science departments.

THIRD SEMESTER:  No change

FOURTH  SEMESTER: 

401: unit-II: Ionic liquids definitions synthesis ,properties and applications are to

         be included.

402: No change

403: unit-II content is revised with Atropine, Tepavarine,Quinine.

404:Green chemistry 1&2 is Merged  and revised Unit-II replaced with multistep

        synthesis as per 402: Unit-II of SVU content.

408: Human values and Professional ethics-II is introduced as  per  UGC

        guidelines.
